Description
May 12th,
Hedwig foaled near midnight; approx 11:50pm. White colt, right front ermine spots. Difficult labour, though tough to say why. All medical examinations before and after the birth came back completely clean; Hedwig just really didn't want to have this baby.
The strange, portent-like nature of Hedwig's labour notwithstanding, the foal appears to be in good health and extremely vigorous in his attitudes towards life. He's a roaring little thing, never slowing down for long, and he's got so much fire in him that it'll be tough to stretch him to a distance once he matures. We expect based on his behaviour alone that his is a sprinter's future.</i>
Here he is. I've been planning him forever, and he's finally here. Corvus came into being one fateful night when I was randomly pairing up my mares with stallions and randomizing baby genetics--when Hedwig x Paradox came up with this on my first roll, I KNEW IT HAD TO BE.
Name: Corvus (Latin for "crow")
Barn name: Cory
Gender: Colt
Breed: Thoroughbred
Age: Newborn
Height: Projected 16.2hh
Color: Bay sabino-white DW
Genotype: Ee Aa SbSb W5w
Markings: All white except right front ermine spots
Temperament: The term "fire in his veins" would not be out of place in describing Cory. He has the same roaring competitive drive that coursed through his 3/4 brother Awry; besides that, he's not much fun to be around, as inattentiveness is rewarded by an introduction to his teeth and hooves.
Discipline: Racing prospect
Bloodlines: Paradox x Hedwig
Offspring: N/A
For stud/lease: Unavailable - too young
