HARPG revamp: Vanquish

Moar HARPG! The end of the revamp, actually. I only had four horses (that I wanted to continue on with).

Undoubtedly the best of the revamp bunch, in my opinion. Which is fitting, since he's my BABY. *squish* It's really a shame his daddy's no longer available for stud (~WisheWing is gone from dA), or I'd be going back for little brothers and sisters.

As it is, I shall have to be satisfied with my bizarre little mutt boy. Who I love.

Temperament: Vanquish is a total sweetheart and the ultimate shmoozer. He's got the puppy-dog eyes down pat, and is very much aware of his appeal to the two-legged species.

At first, much of the staff was boggled as to why Sterling, the farm's prized warmblood mare, would be bred out to a mustang stud rather than to Tawdry, or even to another farm's pureblooded showjumper or dressage champion. Management apparently had its reasons, however, and it was insisted upon that the silver dapple mare meet with a young palomino named Evan. The coupling was rewarded almost a year later with a painted heartthrob of a mutt, and Vanquish immediately laid waste to everyone's emotional defenses. He's the darling of Brazen Fields, a kind, but thoroughly competitive individual with a keen mind and a good heart.

His penchant for the rigours of reining was discovered when one of the hands witnessed him in a pasture, galloping like an idiot straight towards a fence and slamming on the brakes right before he might have smashed into the picket. His training began with a professional western showman the following week.
