Brash and Bold

Sterling foaled just past midnight, approx. 12:15am. Silver dapple roan filly; LF coronet, LH sock; star, stripe, snip. Textbook foaling, absolutely perfect.

Having done a little genetics homework, we'd known it was 50/50 for the foal of Tawdry and Sterling: 50% chance blue roan, 50% chance... this. Her conformation is spectacular, and she's a great big thing, so she'll be impossible to miss in a show ring. A fitting end to Sterling's broodmare career.

Yep, that's right. Sterling's all done making the babies. Glittering is her very last foal. ^^

I actually flipped a coin for her colour. Heads, blue roan. Tails, this beastie. I did a little dance when the little maple leaves on my Canadian penny winked up at me.
