DOWNLOAD FOR FULL VIEW!! IT'S HUUUUUUGE!
Well, it's done. Done, done, donedonedone. *so happy* I spent about six hours straight yesterday getting the portrait finished, and that time span stretched right into about 2:00 this morning. Then I woke up, ate, lounged, and put another 45 minutes or so into it until it was all done. The tutorial/walkthrough itself was written at the same time as the painting was being painted. It was just easier that way, as I could take screenshots and paste them straight into another file. Plus, I wouldn't forget all the things I wanted to say about certain stages. Also, this tutorial is aimed specifically at users of Photoshop, but I'm absolutely sure you can use the techniques I've outlined in other programs.
